This online exhibition presents the perspectives of curators and conservators on the history, symbolism, and recent restoration of Giovanni Benedetto Castiglione's seventeenth-century painting, The Immaculate Conception with Saints Francis of Assisi and Anthony of Padua. The restoration process, which was documented in the fall of 1999, has been documented through text, photography, and video.
