Interactive Kiosks

Since 1989, The Minneapolis Institute of Arts has been producing educational interactive multimedia programs based on the museum's own art collection. Currently there are 15 networked interactive kiosks embedded throughout the Museum's permanent-collection galleries continuously running these programs.

This section provides an overview of the contents of each of these award winning programs as well as a number of special programs designed for specific exhibitions and unique applications. An additional section describes the Institute's standardized kiosk design that has been adopted by other museums for similar applications.
