Minnesota artist Richard Bresnahan combines the Japanese tradition of pottery making and sensitivity to nature with his own creativeness and the natural resources he finds around his Minnesota home.
Because he uses the earth, trees, and crops native to the area where he lives, the same pottery could not be created in a large city.
