Like me, Bresnahan is an artist. He is also a teacher of pottery at St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota, where he spent three years as a college student himself.
During his student years at St. John's, he had a teacher named Sister Johanna Becker. She was a scholar of Japanese art and a ceramic specialist.
