Matinee Film Series: Best Bette

What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962)
Friday, December 8 and Saturday, December 9 at 2 P.M.
Pillsbury Auditorium
Admission: free for members and seniors; $2 nonmembers.

Jane Hudson (Bette Davis), a demented, middle-aged former child star, lives in an old Hollywood mansion with her invalid sister Blanche (Joan Crawford). The tension between them leads to murder and a cover-up. This film marked the first time that Hollywood’s aging first ladies turned to horror films (b/w, 132 minutes, not rated).
