Paul Klee made this howling dog with one continuous line. Follow the line of the dog with your finger. Find other pictures of animals and use a continuous body movement to describe those animals. Consider: How does the animal move? Is it fast-moving or slow? Are its motions smooth or jerky?
Teacups with Scenes from "The Fox and
the Stork" Act out the story of the Fox and the Stork for the class. First study the animals pictured on the teacups and try to copy their expressions and gestures. Then think of other expressions and gestures they might have used.
