Arts Circle

A committee is beginning preparations for a Masquerade Ball in the halls of the museum in November 2001. Masquerade Ball chair Terry Benson is actively recruiting members to help with the planning. "It is a big step for Arts Circle, and a wonderful way to showcase the museum" said Benson. Anyone interested in joining Arts Circle or helping work on the Masquerade Ball should call the Members’ Hotline at 612-870-6323.

Members Appreciation Weekend
December 9 & 10

Members are invited to attend the Sixth Annual Members Appreciation Weekend December 9 and 10. Join us for world-class art, special members-only discounts, and the popular Members Lounge in the Wells Fargo Community Room. The lounge will offer a relaxing respite from museum crowds as well as complimentary beverages and light snacks. Live jazz and piano music will create a comfortable spot for a visit with friends and family. Members will enjoy special discounts in the Museum Shop. (Save 10 percent on a purchase of $3–$49; 15 percent on $51–$99; 20 percent on $100 or more) Watch for your invitation by mail. No reservation is necessary.

Holiday Luncheon

Mark Monday, December 4, on your calendar. Once again, members of the Patrons’ Circle and New Century Society will be invited to join friends and other donors in celebration of the season at the annual Holiday Luncheon. Tours available of the Period Rooms in resplendent holiday decor. Museum Shop will be open for your convenience. Watch the mail for your invitation.

Museum Shop Special

During November, members are invited to take an additional 10 percent off (for a total of 20 percent) any sale and remainder books currently in stock. Select from a wide variety of titles. The additional discount is limited to two books. This offer does not apply to special orders, or books that are already marked down with a "percentage off" sticker.
