Recent Accessions This exhibition features a selection of some of the The Minneapolis Institute of Arts' most notable recent acquisitions. French Portrait Prints: 17001800 The Painted Page A selection of illuminated manuscripts from the Institutes permanent collection, dating from the fifteenth through the seventeenth centuries. Reflections of a New Era: Modernist Metalwork 18801940 Drawn from the Norwest Collection of Modernbist Design, this exhibition fills fourteen wall cases with works in six classic modern styles. Twelve American Artists: Prints, Drawings, Oils This installation includes prints, drawings, and small oil paintings from the museums holdings and private collections. Featured artists include Frank Benson, Childe Hassam, William Metcalf, John Twachtman, J. Alden Weir, Robert Reid, William Merritt Chase, Maurice Prendergast, Mary Cassatt, Thomas Dewing, Ernest Lawson, and William Glackens.
